Our reflection writing for this week consisted of very amusing stories  "When I stood in something yucky" Our focus maths for the week was looking at various lines and their properties: parallel, horizontal, vertical diagonal and intercepting. The children worked in groups to summarize articles about "Our Body" next week they will present their summary to the class. Thursday we had Circus Maximus visit. They were very funny. Our Junior Representatives, Chris and Alice were presented with their badges on Friday at assembly. Congratulations.

We have been following our timetable this week. We have been busy making wordle fruits and doing journal writing. On Friday we had to elect our class representative for the Junior school council. 10 students went for the position. They wrote a speech about why the should be chosen. When we voted we discovered we had a tie between Chris and Alice. The Mrs V discovered that we had to have 2 representatives anyway so it worked out OK. Alice and Chris will be presented with their badges next week.

We have had a great week. We made some great t-shirts about how terrific our classroom is. We discussed our rules for the classroom and we finished the week by presenting at assembly videos of he games we played during CALC. Alice presented the videos to the school. They were funny especially Mr Chaffer's one. On Friday we also attended a tennis clinic. We had a lot of fun hitting the ball. Have a look at our photos.

 February 5th.

We have completed our first week of school. It was sooooo  busy. The children have received their supplies except for their pencil cases (which are coming soon). They have been doing activities to get to know each other and to set the scene for the classroom. On Friday they decorated a banner to hang in the classroom. They did a fantastic job.
